When is Always an Interval

A record of when an event took place is always a time interval, never a single moment in time. For the quickest events, it is the resolution of your time measuring equipment that sets the length of the interval. For photos it is the shutter speed. For video recordings it is the start and end time. When you talk about the year you were 12, the interval is a full year. The only time you can get away with only recording one moment in time, is when all events share the same duration.
